Kittens Born May 14th
Five new kittens were born to a formerly feral mother I tamed.
She is still a bit timid and will flinch sometimes when I pet her. The important thing though is that I can pet her. With time and gentleness she will get calmer.
After she gets this litter weaned, which is her first litter that I know of, I will be getting her fixed. She does make awfully cute babies but there are too many wild cats around here to justify leaving even one able to breed.
Work will continue after the kittens have found new homes to get her more socialized with the end result being to find her a new forever home also. She is really a beautiful cat and I have no doubt will be easy to place in a very secure, loving home.
