Kittens, Kittens, and more Kittens

Well these last two days have been exciting, 5 new kittens have been added to the mix.

I found one kitten by a dumpster Tuesday. She isn’t looking so good unfortunately but I will try my best. She seems really thin and also seems to be suffering from fleas which have drained a good bit of her blood. I can tell because of the lack of pink to her gums.

Then early this morning I found my cat, Teeny Weeny, had finally had her first litter. She was missing for several hours and would not come when I called. Finally at just after 3am I heard the new kitten cries and followed the sound.

Her and her four kittens, all orange and white, are now inside the house. Once they are weaned she will be fixed. I have seen hundreds of litters of kittens be born since I was just a kid. Never have I seen one where all four come out with the same coloration as their mother.

Oddly enough the one I found hovering by the dumpster is also orange and white. The only difference is that she is long haired where Teeny Weeny and her young ones are short haired.

I will have pictures as soon as humanly possible.
