The kittens are in the house now.
Well they are four weeks old today and each one was eager to eat the moist kitten food I offered them outside so I took them in today.
The kittens will be socialized, fixed and adopted out if I don’t get attached *grin* The mom cat will be fixed also if I can catch her. I don’t think it will be too hard as she has become more tame over the last weeks.
I am going to lure her into a cat carrier with moist cat food then shut the door. Just take her right like that to the vet to be fixed.
I have one other cat, Teeny Weeny, that is going to have her first litter. She is totally tame though and likely I will bring her in the house when she gets close. She mostly just hangs out on the porch these days so I always know where to find her.
After they get weaned she will be getting fixed also and her kittens when they reach the right age so this will start all over again. After all these years I am used to it by now. Still doesn’t make things easy on the wallet. *grin*
I will have pictures posted soon of the three surviving kittens from the May 14th litter in their new home. They all look healthy so everything should be fine.
