Updates
I realize it has been quite a few months since I added anything. It was hard because of grief. Not just grief over the loss of cats but of people also. A good friend of mine passed away far too early…
That said I found an interesting video and I wanted to share it. It made me think I could make my own video about my cats… my rescues.
It made me think of the difference I have made here. When I moved to this property more than 9 years ago now there were 43 cats…
Now there are less than 15. I have had many fixed. Found many new homes. Some died horribly in the road because I could not tame them in time. Some deaths were just kittens, or adolescent cats.
Ewok… one of the original cats that was here when I first moved in passed away. It was sad that as she lay there slipping away it became the first and only time I was able to really touch her.
Even thinking about her passing brings tears… I was with her though and I buried her with ceremony. I never tamed her, never got to touch her until those last moments, but I loved her anyway.
